Our ESPN Fantasy staff ranks are used as a reference for any rankings mentioned in this column.

The official Sunday inactives are usually released around 90 minutes before the scheduled kickoff times: approximately 11:30 a.m. ET for early games and 2:30 p.m. ET for late-afternoon games.

1 p.m. ET games

Damien Harris, RB, BUF OUT/IR
Impact: James Cook and Latavius Murray will share the workload in the Buffalo backfield.

Quintin Morris, TE, BUFOUT
Impact: Dalton Kincaid has cleared concussion protocol and will share targets with Dawson Knox.

Roschon Johnson, RB, CHIOUT
Impact: Johnson is still recovering from a concussion, so expect a timeshare between D’Onta Foreman, Travis Homer, and Darrynton Evans.

Justin Fields, QB, CHIOUT
Impact: Rookie Tyson Bagent will fill in for Fields.

Deshaun Watson, QB, CLEActive
Impact: Watson returns after missing several weeks.

Kareem Hunt, RB, CLEActive
Impact: Deon Jackson was promoted as a backup, but Hunt should still see significant playing time.

Marvin Jones Jr., WR, DETOUT
Impact: Jones did not travel with the team, leading to increased targets for Jameson Williams.

David Montgomery, RB, DETOUT
Impact: Jahmyr Gibbs is expected to handle the majority of carries, especially with Craig Reynolds dealing with a rib injury.

Alec Pierce, WR, INDActive
Impact: Michael Pittman Jr. and Josh Downs are better fantasy options than Pierce.

Kylen Granson, TE, INDOUT
Impact: Mo Alie-Cox and Drew Ogletree will rotate at the tight end position.

Jimmy Garoppolo, QB, LVOUT
Impact: Brian Hoyer will start in Garoppolo’s place, with Davante Adams as his top target.

Kayshon Boutte, WR, NEInactive
Impact: Demario Douglas is the only active wide receiver from this group.

Hunter Henry, TE, NEActive
Impact: However, he is not a recommended starter this week, along with Mike Gesicki.

Daniel Jones, QB, NYGInactive
Impact: Tyrod Taylor will start for the struggling Giants offense.


4 p.m. ET games

Zach Pascal, WR, ARIQuestionable
Impact: Michael Wilson has surpassed Pascal in the wide receiver depth chart.

Kyler Murray, QB, ARIOUT
Impact: Murray’s practice window has opened, but Joshua Dobbs remains as the starting quarterback.

Greg Dulcich, TE, DEN OUT/IR
Impact: Dulcich reaggravated his injury and returns to injured reserve. Adam Trautman will start, but does not hold much fantasy value.

Aaron Jones, RB, GBQuestionable
Impact: Jones’ hamstring injury is still a concern, but he is expected to play. AJ Dillon is a potential pivot option.

Justin Watson, WR, KCOUT
Impact: Watson is expected to remain out until at least Week 10. Kadarius Toney and Rashee Rice benefit in the short term, but Mecole Hardman Jr. could also impact the workload.

Jalen Guyton, WR, LACOUT
Impact: Guyton is not ready to return from injured reserve yet, but may be back next week.

Kyren Williams, RB, LAR OUT/IR
Impact: Darrell Henderson Jr., Zach Evans, Royce Freeman, and Myles Gaskin are expected to be involved in the running back committee.

Diontae Johnson, WR, PITActivated from IR
Impact: Johnson’s return is timely for the Steelers, who placed TE Pat Freiermuth on injured reserve.

DK Metcalf, WR, SEAQuestionable
Impact: Metcalf’s status will likely be a game-time decision. Consider starting a healthy player if you cannot afford to wait.

Zach Charbonnet, RB, SEAQuestionable
Impact: Charbonnet may not play, leading to increased carries for Kenneth Walker III and DeeJay Dallas as the backup.


Sunday night game

Impact: Wilson will eventually share the backfield with Raheem Mostert, but the timeline for overtaking Salvon Ahmed is uncertain.
