Josh Hart can’t help himself.
Despite missing the opening preseason game due to a minor injury, the Knicks’ backup forward made a memorable return in their latest exhibition. Just 25 seconds after checking into the game, Hart dove into the stands to retrieve a loose ball. Unfortunately, he tripped and landed on the concrete, but he brushed it off and continued playing. It was a true display of Hart’s heart and determination.
However, Hart sat out the entire second half of the Knicks’ 121-112 loss to the Timberwolves at Madison Square Garden. He’s taking it easy following his participation with Team USA over the summer.
“I’m getting old, that’s all it is. Just old,” Hart commented on missing the preseason opener. “The amount of games played. Nothing of note.”
