Twitter Users Share Their Reactions to Hugh Jackman Wearing the Iconic Wolverine Suit in ‘Deadpool 3’

After more than twenty years, Hugh Jackman will finally be seen wearing the iconic yellow and blue Wolverine costume in the highly anticipated “Deadpool 3” movie.

On Monday, fans got their first glimpse of Jackman in the beloved supersuit when the “Deadpool” Twitter account shared a behind-the-scenes photo of Jackman and Ryan Reynolds, who portrays Deadpool, walking together.

This is an exciting moment for Wolverine fans, as the original “X-Men” movies have avoided featuring the traditional costumes, particularly Wolverine’s famous bright yellow suit from the Marvel Comics and the ’90s animated “X-Men” series, which fans have been eagerly waiting to see on the big screen.

Twitter users couldn’t contain their excitement after the photo of Jackman surfaced.

While many fans were thrilled with the suit, some noticed that it includes sleeves, unlike the sleeveless look in the comic books.

Speculations arose among Twitter users that the sleeves might have been added to protect the Australian actor from the sun during filming, considering Jackman’s history of skin cancer treatments.

In September, Reynolds created a buzz on Twitter when he released a surprise video hinting at the return of the regenerative mutant with indestructible adamantium claws for “Deadpool 3.”

Since 2000, Jackman has portrayed the fast-healing superhero in multiple films, including “X2: X-Men United,” “X-Men: The Last Stand,” “X-Men Origins: Wolverine,” a cameo in “X-Men: First Class,” “The Wolverine,” “X-Men: Days of Future Past,” “X-Men: Apocalypse,” “Deadpool 2,” and “Logan.”

His character, Wolverine, met his demise in 2017’s “Logan” due to adamantium poisoning and old age.

“Deadpool 3” is set to hit theaters on November 8, 2024.
