Travis Kelce Turns to Taylor Swift for Comfort after Tough Chiefs Game

Travis Kelce’s role has reversed, and now he’s playing the host.

Taylor Swift, the Grammy-winning songstress and girlfriend of the Chiefs star, arrived in Kansas City on Monday morning, as confirmed by Page Six.

Following the Chiefs’ 24-9 loss in Denver on Sunday, Kelce and Swift reportedly have Halloween plans together. Despite the disappointing game, Kelce managed to make six catches for 58 yards.

According to the Daily Mail, they will spend the day together on Tuesday before Kelce, 34, heads to Frankfurt, Germany to play against the Miami Dolphins.

Swift’s presence at Kelce’s games may soon come to an end as she prepares for the international leg of her Eras Tour, which begins in Argentina on Nov. 9.

This could potentially spell trouble for Kelce and the Chiefs, as they have a perfect 4-0 record in games attended by Swift. Interestingly, Kelce tends to perform better when she’s present, averaging 108 yards per game compared to just 46.5 yards in games when she’s not there, as noted by the CBS broadcast on Sunday.

Since their relationship began, the couple has garnered attention from both the sports and tabloid worlds. Swift even made a surprise appearance at the Chiefs’ win over the Bears on Sept. 24.

They have since made headlines for their New York date nights and a joint appearance on “Saturday Night Live” this month.

Now, they will have an opportunity to spend time together in Kelce’s newly purchased $6 million mansion in Kansas City.

However, not everyone is thrilled about their fast-moving romance being in the spotlight. Page Six insiders revealed that Swift’s best friend, Selena Gomez, has expressed some friendly reservations about the relationship.

“Historically, Taylor’s always been super private about everything, and now with this [relationship], she’s so open about it that it’s just very odd for Selena,” the insiders shared.

Adjusting to the increased attention hasn’t been easy for Kelce either. His brother, Eagles center and co-host of the “New Heights” podcast, Jason Kelce, has expressed concerns about the heightened scrutiny.

“There’s paparazzi talking about him fueling his car before the game today, and I’m like, ‘Is that really necessary information to share?'” Jason told NBC Sports. “This is another level of stardom that football players typically don’t deal with.

“So, on one hand, I’m really, really happy for my brother and where he’s at with Taylor. But on the other hand, there are some alarms about how overly pursued people can be,” he added.
