The Long Beach Police Department received a report of a collision between a motorcycle and a vehicle at the intersection of Willow Street and Palo Verde Avenue around 5:35 p.m. on Saturday.
Upon arrival, officers discovered an unconscious adult male motorcyclist who had sustained severe injuries. The Long Beach Fire Department promptly arrived at the scene and rushed the victim to the hospital, but unfortunately, the injuries proved fatal.

As a result of the impact, the motorcyclist was thrown from their bike.
The driver of the Nissan, a 63-year-old resident of Long Beach, remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities conducting the investigation.
The identity of the deceased motorcyclist, who was riding the Harley Davidson, is currently being withheld pending notification of their next of kin by the Los Angeles County Department of the Medical Examiner.
