In this week’s episode of “The Masked Singer,” which had a spooky “Harry Potter” theme, Tyler Posey, known for his role in “Teen Wolf,” was unmasked as Hawk. Posey performed “Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic” by The Police, and shared his excitement about the unique and challenging experience. Although the judges didn’t guess correctly, Posey was flattered by their guesses, which included Billie Joe Armstrong and Pete Wentz.
The two contestants with the least votes, Tiki and Hawk, faced off in a sing-off, with Tiki moving on to the next round and Hawk being unmasked. Posey revealed that if he had continued on, he would have chosen a Backstreet Boys song for his next performance.
The episode also featured Adrienne Bailon-Houghton, who previously appeared as Flamingo in Season 2, opening the show with a performance of “I Put a Spell On You.” The theme for the episode assigned each contestant a Hogwarts house, with Sea Queen, Hawk, Husky, and Tiki representing Ravenclaw, Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, and Slytherin, respectively.
“The Masked Singer” Season 10 has introduced new costumes, including Donut, Anteater, Hawk, Hibiscus, Diver, Gazelle, Royal Hen, Husky, Tiki, Pickle, Rubber Ducky, Candelabra, Cow, Sea Queen, Anonymouse, and a life-size S’More. The season also marks the return of previously unmasked celebrities and features themed episodes such as a tribute to Elton John, a “Trolls Night” tied to the release of “Trolls Band Together,” and an “NFL Night.”
Host Nick Cannon is joined by panelists Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, Nicole Scherzinger, Ken Jeong, and Robin Thicke. Season 10 showcases celebrity singers with impressive accolades, including a combined 40 medals, 33 Grammy nominations, seven hall of fame awards, three lifetime achievement awards, and over 50 tattoos.
With its unique format this season, featuring three groups followed by Battle Royale semi-final episodes, “The Masked Singer” continues to captivate audiences with its captivating performances and surprises.
