While the Kansas City Chiefs played in Germany on Sunday, decided to stay in New York City with her friends before resuming her Eras tour. Reports from TMZ and Page Six indicate that Swift went above and beyond in supporting her new love interest, , not just by liking an Instagram post about his record-breaking achievement as the Chiefs’ all-time leading receiver.
Swift apparently hosted a watch party for the game at her New York City apartment, attended by several partners of Chiefs players. Notably, Paige Buechele, wife of backup quarterback Shane Buechele, and Lyndsay Bell, wife of tight end Blake Bell, were photographed leaving Swift’s TriBeCa apartment wearing Chiefs sweaters after the game.
According to TMZ, the group, including Brittany Mahomes, wife of Patrick Mahomes, went to Casa Cipriani after the game and spent hours together. Mahomes also went out with Swift and her friends Cara Delevingne, Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, and Sophie Turner on Saturday night.
Swift also shared photos of her girls’ weekend in New York with Bell and Buechele. Their friendship extends beyond NFL game days. A source revealed to the Daily Mail that Swift and Mahomes are likely to continue spending time together even after the NFL season is over.
“Taylor and Brittany will hang out in the future,” the source said. “There has been talk that after the season is done, Brittany and Patrick will attend one of Taylor’s shows overseas. While their friendship mainly revolves around the stadium, they are slowly but surely planning double dates and spending more time with each other.”
