Police in Washington state are on the hunt for a married couple who has gone missing following a welfare check at their residence. The missing pair have been identified as Davido, a 6-foot-tall White man weighing around 180 pounds, and Karen A. Koep, a 115-pound, 5-foot 4-inch White woman, as per a news release from the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office. The couple lives in the Lake Forest Development in Thurston County.
During a welfare check after one of them failed to report for duty, Koep and Davido were found missing and the circumstances surrounding their disappearance were deemed “suspicious,” according to the news release.
A 2015 Toyota Yaris registered to the couple was also missing from their residence and was later found at an intersection just 15 minutes away. Law enforcement authorities have obtained surveillance footage and conducted interviews as part of the ongoing investigation alongside local and state partners.
The sheriff’s office has refrained from releasing specific details “to ensure the integrity of the investigation,” urging anyone with information about the missing couple to come forward.
