The report revealed that July 10 was the day with the most widespread climate change impact, affecting 3.5 billion people with extreme heat. However, it is important to note that this does not necessarily coincide with the hottest day globally, which was recorded on July 7. While the study has not yet undergone peer-review, independent climate scientists have deemed it to be credible.
Climate Central has developed a measurement tool called the Climate Shift Index, which calculates real-time global temperature changes due to climate change.
