Authorities suspect that the individuals attempting to rob a jewelry store are the same group that recently robbed another jewelry store. The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office reported that four men were caught on video heading towards the Rudi Fine Jewelry building on Highway 92 and Bells Ferry Road. Three suspects stayed on the west side while one approached the front door of the store. When he couldn’t gain entry, he rejoined the others on the side of the building. The men then fled in a silver car.
Officials in Cherokee believe the suspects were planning a robbery similar to the one in Canton on Nov. 3 at River Fine Jewelry. Investigators believe there is a strong likelihood that the suspects are the same individuals and their intent on Friday was to rob the jewelry store had the door been open.
