Solo players who enjoy Pokemon Go have expressed their frustrations with the recent Shadow Lugia raids, calling them “completely pointless.”

Pokemon Go’s October 2023 Team Go Rocket takeover event is currently underway, allowing players to challenge the evil team in order to capture Shadow Regigigas and Shadow Lugia.

Many other players expressed similar frustrations, noting the difficulty of participating in a Shadow Lugia raid and capturing the Pokemon.

‘Yeah, it’s completely pointless. I live in a quiet area where very few people play. So there’s no chance of getting 5 people together in the same park/area to do a Shadow raid. I went into town this morning hoping to find Lugia raids, but there wasn’t a single person,” said one fan.

Another trainer mentioned that even with enough participants, it remains extremely challenging to catch Shadow Lugia.

“The problem is, Lugia is so resilient that most players struggle to defeat it since the average group of trainers should have 8+ members just to have a chance at winning,” they explained.

The reception of the Shadow Raids has been mixed among fans, and it is evident that many trainers are once again facing challenges with Shadow Lugia.
