Nissan Introduces the Highly Anticipated 2024 Frontier with Classic Hardbody Edition

Nissan Unveils 2024 Frontier Hardbody Edition with Retro Vibes

Nostalgia is a powerful feeling, and Nissan is tapping into it with the introduction of the 2024 Frontier Hardbody Edition. Despite struggling to sell full-size trucks in the market, Nissan has found success in the midsize category with its vintage model, aptly named the “Hardbody.” This special edition package blends design elements from the 1980s with modern technology, creating a unique and captivating truck.

Available on the Crew Cab SV, the Hardbody Edition features retro-styled three-spoke alloy wheels that closely resemble the original truck’s design. While the package comes with all-terrain tires from Hankook, envisioning BFGoodrich KO2s on this vehicle adds an extra level of excitement. Other notable features include an aluminum skid plate, black over-fenders, a black side rail, mud flaps, and a bed-mounted sport bar, all contributing to its rugged and retro look.

Paying homage to the 1980s, the Frontier Hardbody Edition also includes black bumpers and grille, reminiscent of the original truck. However, due to modern safety standards, the front bumper is more of a cover than a steel bash bar. The front doors feature a “4×4” logo, and the tailgate showcases new graphics inspired by the original truck. While the Nissan chrome badge has been replaced with a white-space cutout on the tailgate, the word “Frontier” is still prominently displayed.

The Hardbody Edition package is priced at $3,890 in the United States and is described as a limited edition, hinting that it may not be available for long. Although Nissan has not provided any information about its availability in Canada, the opportunity remains open. The 2024 Nissan Frontier will be hitting dealerships this Autumn, so act quickly if you want to get your hands on this nostalgic gem.
