Millie Bobby Brown is ready to bid farewell to “Stranger Things.”
The actress, who rose to fame on the popular Netflix series in 2016, will conclude her tenure on the show with her fellow cast members in the upcoming fifth and final season.
“I’m prepared to express my gratitude and bid farewell,” said Brown, one of Glamour’s Global Woman of the Year honorees, in an interview published by the outlet on Monday.
“When you’re ready, it’s like, ‘Alright, let’s do this,'” she continued. “Let’s conquer this final year of high school. Let’s get out of here.”
Brown, who portrays Eleven on the critically acclaimed series, has been a part of “Stranger Things” since its inception. The 19-year-old actress expressed how the show has equipped her with the necessary skills and opportunities to grow as an actor.
However, the multi-talented actress, who also serves as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, an author, a student at Purdue University, a film producer, and even the founder of the cosmetics brand Florence by Mills, revealed her excitement to explore other projects.
“‘Stranger Things’ demands a significant amount of filming time and limits my ability to pursue the stories that truly inspire me,” she explained, assuring fans that she will maintain relationships with her cast members even after the conclusion of the show.
