Long Beach Police Investigating Shooting Involving U.S. Marshals

Police were investigating a shooting involving U.S. marshals in Long Beach Thursday, though no one was injured.

The Long Beach Police Department was dispatched at about 12:50 p.m. to the area of 12th Street and Cedar Avenue to assist marshals following the shooting, according to a department spokesperson.

The LBPD was not involved in the shooting, but was assisting the investigation.

The U.S. Marshals Service could not be immediately reached for comment. No further details were released.
