Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler isn’t pleased with gas prices, just like the rest of us.
After enjoying a game of pickleball with his friends, Butler drove his Rolls-Royce to a gas station to fill up.
However, his mood quickly turned sour as he witnessed the price for a full tank skyrocket past the three-figure mark.
“This is highway f—ing robbery,” exclaimed Butler on his Instagram story as his bill reached $145. “Man, I’m trying to give some of this gas back. Wow.”

“You think if I go in and tell him that I put the wrong gas in here they’d give me a refund? This is crazy.”
The national average price for a gallon of gasoline has decreased to $3.86, according to the latest report from AAA. It was $3.88 the previous week, possibly indicating this year’s peak.

It’s unclear where exactly Butler fueled up or the type of gas he purchased, but seeing three figures on the pump has become a common occurrence nationwide.
While Butler’s lucrative three-year, $146 million contract with the Heat sets him apart from the average person, he still can’t fathom the exorbitant gas prices and is contemplating switching to an electric vehicle in the near future.
