It’s been two weeks since the last patch, and now Android 14 QPR1 Beta 2.2 is rolling out, packed with numerous bug fixes specifically for Pixel devices. Although it’s not the highly anticipated Beta 3, this release resolves several performance issues.
U1B2.230922.013, which is still based on the October 2023 security patch, includes 34 bug fixes. This update is available for all devices, and the on-device Android 14 QPR1 Beta 2.2 OTA update for the Pixel Fold weighs in at 40.35 MB.

- Addressed an issue where the package installer would crash due to a null pointer exception.
- Solved an issue where the system launcher would crash due to a null pointer exception.
- Fixed an issue that affected Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity until the device was rebooted.
- Improved Face Unlock reliability.

- Addressed an issue specific to Pixel Tablet devices, causing an unsmooth animation when tapping to return to an app from the list of recent apps.
- Fixed an issue specific to Pixel Tablet devices, where audio would produce a popping sound when adjusting the volume with a wired headset connected.
- Resolved an issue specific to Pixel Tablet devices, where unlocking the device with a fingerprint while a screen saver was active would return the user to the Home screen instead of the open app.
- Fixed an issue causing memory corruption in rare cases.
