An interior decorator has revealed the fridge gadget she uses to keep her herbs fresh and flavourful for weeks.
The woman from Miami, who goes by ‘The Homey Home’, uses the $18 Prepara Herb Savour Pods to triple the life of fresh herbs.
To use the woman simply places washed parsley inside of the pod and carefully closes the clear hinged door.

She then opens the tethered green cap at the back of the pod, fills it with fresh water and stores it in the fridge.
It is recommended to empty out the old water and refill the pod every three to five days to keep herbs fresh for up to three weeks.
The fridge gadget comes in a cylinder shape with a clear opening to store the herbs and features an in-built cap you can fill with fresh water.

The pods have also been designed with a hard outer shell to protect leaves from being crushed by other refrigerated items.
The gadget has been declared a ‘kitchen hero’ by magazines and foodies from around the world as many have praised the practical fridge-friendly pods.
Prepara Herb Savor Pods are also used by A-list celebrity Oprah Winfrey and the cooking queen herself, Martha Stewart.
