Police asked for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in connection with the fatal stabbing of a man described as a member of Fullerton’s homeless community who was found dead Sunday, July 25.
Callers notified police at 6:10 a.m. after finding the man lying on the east sidewalk of the 400 block of South Lemon Street, Fullerton Police Cpl. Billy Phu said. Officers were immediately dispatched.
The victim, who was still in the process of being officially identified, had lost a “significant amount of blood” and died before he could be taken to a hospital, Phu said. His name was not immediately released. He was known to frequent the area of the crime scene.
Information regarding any possible suspect and details about what led up to the stabbing were not available Sunday evening.
