A fire damaged a two-story home in Tarzana Monday evening and forced its four occupants to find somewhere else to stay but no one was injured.
The fire was reported at about 6:25 p.m. at 19629 Valdez Drive, near Marvin Braude Gateway Park, according to Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The fire was fully extinguished in a little over 30 minutes by 57 firefighters. The blaze was declared knocked down at 6:57 p.m., Prange said.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
