Exclusive: ‘Chicago P.D.’ Star Tracy Spiridakos Set to Depart After Season 11

Another member of Intelligence is set to depart from “Chicago P.D.” Tracy Spiridakos, known for her role as Hailey Upton, will be leaving the show after Season 11, according to multiple sources at Variety.

The number of episodes Spiridakos will appear in during the upcoming season is unknown.

More from Variety

Spiridakos initially joined the NBC procedural as a recurring character in Season 4 before being promoted to a series regular in Season 5. She has appeared in a total of 127 episodes and has also made appearances in the spinoff series “Chicago Med,” “Chicago Fire,” and “FBI.”

This departure follows Jesse Lee Soffer’s exit from the series in the previous season. Soffer, who portrayed Upton’s husband Jay Halstead, chose to leave the show after 10 years. In Season 10, Halstead left for an Army task in Bolivia and extended his trip, ultimately deciding not to return to his wife.

There is a possibility that Soffer could make a cameo appearance before Spiridakos’ departure. In an interview with Variety last February, Soffer mentioned that the door is not completely closed for his return.

Season 10 of “Chicago P.D.” concluded with Adam Ruzek’s life in danger after being shot and rushed
