Everton considers Amadou Onana to be more valuable than Romeo Lavia, as evidenced by their higher valuation for the player compared to Southampton’s demand for Lavia.
Southampton is seeking around £60 million from Liverpool and Chelsea for Belgian international Lavia as their transfer negotiations near completion.
Everton believes Onana is at a more advanced stage in his career than Lavia, with greater experience in the Premier League and a higher standing in the national team.
As highlighted by Mail Sport, Manchester United is indeed interested in signing Onana, but due to Financial Fair Play (FFP) restrictions, they need to sell players before they can make any purchases.
United holds Onana in high regard, but they consider his value to be too high for their current budget. Instead, they are also exploring the possibility of signing Fiorentina’s Sofyan Amrabat, who would cost around £25 million.
