After retiring from the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2019, Evans attempted to lighten his workload. However, he realized the demands of his schedule when he started dating Baptista. He thought he only did one movie a year and tried to avoid work, but within a few months of dating, they found themselves living in Atlanta for a year.
Evans described the experience as grueling and vowed to never repeat it. He loves acting but admitted that being on camera is not something he couldn’t live without. He expressed his desire to act less in the future, as he has other interests he wants to pursue.
