Cooper Kupp, the Los Angeles Rams wide receiver currently sidelined with a hamstring injury, is making moves in the real estate market. According to The Wall Street Journal, Kupp has listed his four-acre Oregon home for $3.5 million. He purchased the property for $2.5 million in 2020, sight unseen. Located 30 minutes outside of Portland in Wilsonville, the property includes a five-bedroom main house, a nearly 2,000-square-foot guest house, and a four-car garage converted into a gym. During the pandemic, Kupp transformed a barn into a 4,600-square-foot indoor sports complex with a turf-lined field, retractable basketball hoops, lighting, speakers, and two oversized bay doors.
Kupp told the newspaper, “So much blood, sweat, and tears went into it. It was really pretty special.” He used the training facility extensively in preparation for Super Bowl LVI, where he was crowned MVP. The main house, designed in a Gothic Revival style, spans 5,700 square feet and boasts hardwood flooring, natural stone accents, enormous windows, and decorative millwork throughout. It features a cozy paneled office, a family room bar with a wine fridge, a formal dining room with coffered ceilings and chandeliers, and a kitchen equipped with a large center island and high-end appliances.
Speaking to Forbes, Kupp said, “We were very intentional in outfitting the barn to make it the best performance center that we could, and I think that work shows. I’m going to miss the early morning work in that barn.” The primary suite, located on the ground floor, offers a private entry vestibule, a patio, and an en suite bath, while the second floor features four additional bedrooms.
Kupp and his wife are selling the property due to their limited ability to travel to Oregon with their three children. Although it’s unclear where Kupp’s next offseason retreat will be, for now, he’s expected to remain in Los Angeles. The listing is being handled by Kendra Ratcliff of LUXE Forbes Global Properties.
