Cindy Crawford, 56, goes incognito in goggles and bandana as she reveals she attended Burning Man with mini-me daughter Kaia Gerber, 21, last week
Supermodel Cindy Crawford went to Burning Man last week and shared images from the experience on Instagram on Sunday
The first time ‘Burner’ posted a trio of pictures, she reminisced about the impromptu visit to Nevada’s Black Rock City, noting that she shared the experience with her daughter Kaia Gerber, who recently turned 21.
An annual event centered on self-expression, self-reliance, art, music, and community, Burning Man was built on an anything-goes ethos and is known to ignite a deeper understanding of self in attendees.

Crawford kicked off her photos with a selfie in the desert.
While oversized polarized goggles shielded her eyes from sun and dust, the makeup-less beauty looked festival chic as she had a khaki bandana around her neck, a black bathing suit top, and messy wind-blown hair.
One of this year’s art installations loomed behind her, and her caption read: ‘…the surreal ruggedness and inspiring beauty of the playa enabled me to reconnect to my maiden self – adventurous, fun, curious and carefree.’

The model, who attended the event with her daughter and veteran ‘Burners, ’ appeared to assimilate quite well to the notoriously hot and creative event.
In a second image, she posed inside the giant human head sculpture freestanding on a dry sunbaked playa.
Continuing with her unabashed vulnerability, Cindy continued, ‘Sometimes roles we play in “real” life disconnect is from our joyous selves, and only when we are far out of our comfort zone, we have no other choice but to look within.’
