Celebrities including Strictly professional Dianne Buswell, rapper apl.de.ap from Black Eyed Peas, TV star Dani Dyer, and actor James Buckley are set to compete in the upcoming series of Celebrity MasterChef. Hosted by John Torode and Gregg Wallace, the cooking competition will feature 20 stars from the screen and stage. The show will span six weeks of challenges, culminating in the crowning of the champion. Previous winners include Lisa Snowdon. Other contestants include Max George from The Wanted, Michael Praed from Robin Hood, Mica Ven from Gogglebox, Luca Bish from Love Island, and Locksmith from Rudimental. The lineup is completed by Richie Anderson, Dave Benson Phillips, Terry Christian, Marcus Brigstocke, Shazia Mirza, Jamelia, Wynne Evans, Amy Walsh, Cheryl Hole from RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, Remi Burgz, and Sam Fox. The first episode will feature the Under The Cloche challenge, followed by the creation of a two-course dinner party menu. Returning challenges include Dinner Party Dish and Nostalgia Dish, with a new Celebrity Food Truck challenge introduced this year. The final stages of the competition will include the Chef’s Table challenge and a new challenge called Hunter Gather Cook. Celebrity MasterChef, produced by Shine TV, will air on BBC One this summer.
