Cathedral City officials, together with school administrators, will be hosting an exclusive open house on Sunday to provide residents with all the necessary information about their summer pool program. The program offers interested parties access to the Cathedral City High School pool up until August 5. The open house, which will run from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., is set to happen at the school’s pool located at 69-250 Dinah Shore Drive. Ryan Hunt, the Communications and Events Manager for Cathedral City, stated Mayor Rita Lamb and a few City Council members will be present at the event, sporting 1920s swimsuits in the hopes of making it more fun. Additionally, Lenny the Landshark and CCHS standout swimmer Jayden Crittenden are also expected to grace the event. It is integral to note that a three-party joint-use agreement has previously received unanimous approval to provide residents access to swim sessions and lessons at the school’s pool. It is set to open for recreational swim sessions and swim lessons from Sunday to August 5.
