The Israel Defense Forces announced on Thursday morning that they launched an assault on Hezbollah targets along the northern border shared with Lebanon.

“As part of the operation, we targeted an observation post near the coast that was involved in the recent anti-tank attack on Rosh Hankara,” conveyed the IDF in a communication shared via X, formerly known as Twitter.

The IDF claimed that the strikes were a response to “recent incidents of aggression towards Israel,” insinuating the occurrence of shootings across the border.
