Blake Shelton shares a close bond with Stefani’s three sons: Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo. In fact, one of the reasons Shelton decided to step away from his role as a judge on The Voice after 23 seasons was to dedicate more time to his family and these wonderful boys.

“Being a stepdad has transformed my perspective. I’m no longer the focus of my own thoughts,” Shelton shared in an interview with Access. “Even for simple decisions, my immediate thought is always, ‘How will this work?’ Or, ‘What will they think?’ Or, ‘How will it impact our schedule?'”

He further elaborated, stating, “To truly fulfill my role as a stepdad, I felt that stepping away from a commitment like The Voice was necessary. It demands a significant amount of time, and if you want to do it justice, you have to be fully committed. But now, I have a more important job.”
