BBC Breakfast host Sally Nugent left viewers in hysterics after accidentally flashing a raunchy Page 3 photo while reading the headlines on Tuesday, just after 6am.

The broadcaster, 51, held up an image of a lingerie-clad model by mistake while discussing an article on the other side of the unfortunately-folded newspaper.

Taking to Twitter, fans of the show questioned ‘who folded the paper’ while joking that she had kept them ‘abreast’ of the news.

Her co-star Jon Kay, 52, couldn’t contain his laughter as she told viewers about the story regarding a house for sale which comes with a camel in the back garden.

He joked, ‘I don’t think anyone’s talking about the back garden,’ however a confused Sally replied, ‘I didn’t see… what happened?’

‘There’s something on the back of the page. Don’t worry, just carry on,’ Jon awkwardly concluded.
