On September 29, 2023, Aston Martin, the premium car manufacturer, made its debut in India with the launch of the DB12 model. Priced at Rs 4.59 crore, the DB12 is the successor to the DB11 model and comes equipped with a powerful 4.0-litre V8 engine.
The DB12 is powered by a four-litre V8 twin-turbocharged powertrain, delivering an impressive 670bhp and 800Nm of peak torque. It is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, sending power to the rear wheels. With a top speed of 325 kmph, the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.5 seconds. It also offers three drive modes – GT, Sport, and Sport+.
The DB12 sports a larger front grille with new LED headlights. It sits on 21-inch wheels and features flush-fitting door handles. Inside, the cabin is equipped with a new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also boasts a Bowers & Wilkins sound system and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.
Deliveries of the Aston Martin DB12 will begin in the second quarter of 2024. In the Indian market, the DB12 will rival the Ferrari Roma.
