Dolphins tight end Adam Shaheen – who lists “somewhere without a mask” as his location on Twitter – landed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Sunday.
The team said the 26-year-old was placed on the list after tight ends coach George Godsey tested positive for the virus.
Fellow tight ends Mike Gesicki and Cethan Carter were also placed on the list, but it is unclear if they tested positive or were considered high-risk close contacts.

If unvaccinated, close contacts must isolate for five days.

Shaheen joined the Dolphins from the Chicago Bears in a trade before the 2020 season began. The former second-round draft pick logged 12 catches for 150 yards in his lone season in Miami.
Shaheen’s Twitter bio states “I will not comply.” It remains to be seen if he will comply with the NFL if they order him to isolate.
