MANILA, Philippines — Alex Eala is always open to representing the country in national team competitions, including the 32nd Southeast Asian Games in Cambodia next year.
Although the Tennis national team has yet to make any call-ups, the 17-year-old US Open girls’ singles champion reassured her commitment to carry the flag for a possible second stint in the biennial competition.
“There hasn’t been any talk yet of SEA Games, so far, I think it’s a couple of months away. But, I would definitely be open to joining the SEA Games again,” said Eala in a virtual press conference on Friday.
