Adele recently took to Instagram to express her gratitude to fans for the ‘life changing’ Las Vegas residency, and it seems the singer is set to continue her reign at the venue.
According to The Sun, Adele has signed a new deal to extend her sell-out shows in Las Vegas once again.
This extension comes as a surprise to fans who were hoping for a world tour in the near future.
The shows, titled “Weekends With Adele at Colosseum At Caesars Palace,” are now expected to run until June 2024 with a short break next month after the current stint ends on November 4.
Adele’s fourth album, 30, brought her back into the charts in 2021 and her Vegas residency has been consistently sold-out.
According to a source, Vegas is the perfect fit for Adele as it allows her to perform regularly for her fans without the demands of a world tour.
The source added, “It’s only a short trip from LA once a week, so when she’s not on stage, she is able to still be with her son Angelo.
A second extension has been agreed upon and is expected to be announced during her final weekend next month.”
MailOnline has reached out to Adele’s representatives for comment.
Adele has previously spoken about her struggles with fame and her priority of providing a stable life for her and her son.
Recently, Adele expressed her gratitude to her fans for their support during her Vegas residency.
She shared a highlight reel on Instagram, showing moments of interaction with fans, including hugs, autographs, and emotional performances.
In her heartfelt post, she wrote, “This residency, these shows have changed my life. I desperately needed to fall back in love with performing live again, and I have.”
