Apple’s iOS 17.2 Update: Resolves Wi-Fi Slowdowns and Enhances Connectivity Issues

Has your iPhone been experiencing Wi-Fi problems ever since iOS 17 was released last month? You’re not alone. However, the good news is that Apple has addressed these issues in iOS 17.2.

A few weeks back, 9to5Mac reported on the variety of Wi-Fi issues that iPhone users have been facing with iOS 17, including dropped connections, slow performance, and others. The team at iClarified filed a bug report with Apple regarding the problem, and Apple has responded by confirming that the problems have been resolved in iOS 17.2.

iOS 17.2 is currently available to developers and public beta users, and it includes the fixes for Wi-Fi connectivity problems.

Thanks to your feedback, we have made software changes in the latest update, build 21C5029g, that effectively resolve this issue. To check the software build your device is running and to see if there are any updates available, simply tap on Settings > General > Software Update.
