Cameo appearances are becoming a popular trend on Saturday Night Live (SNL). During the recent episode, hosted by Bad Bunny, three big names made appearances, adding excitement to the show. Last week, host Pete Davidson received assistance from Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, which created a lot of buzz. This time, Bad Bunny had the support of actor Pedro Pascal and musicians Mick Jagger and Lady Gaga.

Pedro Pascal’s Appearance
Pedro Pascal, known for his roles in The Mandalorian and The Last of Us, joined Bad Bunny on stage. Pascal pretended to assist with translating Bad Bunny’s Spanish monologue, although his translations were less than accurate. Pascal also reprised a character from his previous SNL appearance, while Bad Bunny played the role of an overprotective aunt.
Pascal also introduced Bad Bunny’s performance of the song “Monaco.”
Mick Jagger Makes a Comeback
Mick Jagger, the iconic lead singer of the Rolling Stones, returned to SNL after his cameo in 1986. He appeared dressed as a nun in a sketch about a convent meeting, jokingly referred to as Sister Act 3. Jagger also settled a fight in a telenovela spoof with a few slaps of his hand.
Lady Gaga Introduces a Song
Lady Gaga followed Taylor Swift’s footsteps by making a guest appearance solely to introduce a song. Gaga showed her love for “Nueva York” and “Puerto Rico” before announcing Bad Bunny’s song “Un Preview.”
Fred Armisen’s Cameo
Former SNL cast member Fred Armisen made a cameo appearance in a pre-recorded sketch called “The Age of Discovery.” Armisen, along with Mikey Day, portrayed explorers showcasing their discoveries to Bad Bunny and Marcello Hernández, who played the king and prince respectively.
Cold Open Targeting Jim Jordan
Aside from the notable cameos, SNL gained attention for its cold open sketch, which parodied Ohio congressman Jim Jordan. The sketch humorously highlighted Jordan’s failed attempts to become the next speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives.
The Weekend Update segment, hosted by Colin Jost and Michael Che, also delivered laughs with their commentary on various stories. The highlight was Ego Nwodim’s portrayal of Jada Pinkett Smith, who hilariously answered why she and Will Smith haven’t divorced.
