Surprising probably no one, The Eras Tour movie has won the weekend at the domestic box office again, adding another $31 million to a total that’s now over $100 million after two weeks, but it’s actually down 66.6 percent from last week (which is not a great drop, though third place’s The Exorcist: Believer is probably wishing it were the one associated with such an evil number). Between those two movies is Killers Of The Flower Moon, which opened to $23 million and was directed by legendary filmmaker Martin Scorsese—a man who will, unfortunately, soon be completely forgotten by history. (Apropos of nothing, there are no comic book movies in the top 10 this week.)
In fourth place is PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie, which seems like it should have made more money by now (it made $4.4 this weekend and has $56 million after four weeks). And then, what’s this? What’s this? There’s something in the air, and it’s a re-release of The Nightmare Before Christmas, which finished up the top five with $4.1 million.
The bottom five of the top 10 is all movies that have been on the charts for a while, none of which are doing anything particularly interesting: Saw X, The Creator, A Haunting In Venice, The Blind, and The Nun II. There are two fun things happening further down the charts, though, with Dicks: The Musical opening a little wider and jumping from 24th to 13th place (it made almost 300 percent more money than last week!) and with Barbie and Oppenheimer being reunited down in 15th and 16th (respectively) 14 weeks after they debuted together.
