Astonishing: Florida Couple Welcomes Third Baby Girl on Same Date
A Florida couple had their minds blown when their third baby girl was born on September 3, making it the third consecutive year that they have welcomed a child on this date. “Our mouths dropped,” exclaimed dad Jeremy Turner, 33, of Ocala, Florida, in an exclusive interview with Fox News Digital. “We were like, ‘It’s happening all over again.’ When we were at the hospital, the doctors kept telling us that they’ve never heard of a case like this ever before happening in Ocala.”
This remarkable phenomenon has even been confirmed by the hospital itself. “We celebrated the extraordinary when our team delivered the Turner family’s third child in four years with all three children sharing the same birthday,” stated Cindy Poirier, the assistant vice president of Women’s and Children’s at AdventHealth Ocala. “Such a rare and exciting event reminds us of the magic of life and the connections we foster here in our community.”
All three births were natural, according to mom Sauhry Turner, 26. “People have asked me if I had C-sections,” Sauhry Turner noted. “No. No C-sections. All the girls were natural births and unplanned.”
The Turners’ first daughter, Jasmine, was born on September 3, 2020, followed by Jessica on September 3, 2021. Adding to the intriguing coincidence, Jessica also shares a birthmark in the same spot as Jasmine.
Sauhry Turner mentioned that Jessica was due to be born on September 7, almost missing the chance to share a birthday with her sister. “She came early,” Sauhry Turner said. “But it was close to midnight, so Jessica almost didn’t make it. She was born at 11:15 p.m.”
The Turners were amazed when they found out they were pregnant with their third child and the ultrasound revealed a due date of September 4. “That blew our minds,” said Jennifer Turner, Jeremy’s mother, who lives with the family. “I was like, ‘That’s close. That’s going to happen again.'”
True to form, the Turners’ third daughter, Juliet, was born at 6:44 p.m. on September 3, 2023. “It was just random,” Sauhry Turner said.
While it is not common for families to have multiple children born on the same day, there are even more extraordinary cases, such as the Mangi family from Pakistan, who hold the Guinness World Record for having nine family members, including the parents, born on the same day.
The Turners feel truly blessed by this unique occurrence. “I just want them to be happy and healthy. Hopefully we can move to a house with more room to play,” Sauhry Turner said. Jeremy Turner thinks his girls will not only share a birthday but also a special bond. “Being born on the same day, that is something special they’ll carry with them as they get older,” he expressed.
The hope for the future is that no one will be in the hospital on September 3 so the whole family can celebrate together, perhaps with a trip to Disney World.
