“I asked for five Cash4Life tickets and handed him the money,” the lucky player explained. “However, the attendant made a mistake and gave me a Multi-Match ticket instead. At first, I thought it was the work of a new employee. He was incredibly apologetic.”
Despite the mix-up, the player chose to keep the ticket. It wasn’t until a few days later that he discovered his fortune when he won the $580,000 prize from the Multi-Match drawing. The man decided to verify his win.
“On my way home from work that night, I stopped by the retailer and scanned the ticket. I even took a picture of the message to prove it was true,” he recalled excitedly.
Initially skeptical, the winner’s wife became convinced when she saw the photo of the winning message.
