MANILA, Philippines — According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), the southwest monsoon or “habagat” will bring cloudy skies and rain showers to Southern Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao.
In Metro Manila, fair weather is expected with cloudy skies and isolated rain showers and thunderstorms, particularly in the afternoon.
Pagasa weather specialist Patrick del Mundo stated, “The southwest monsoon or habagat is still affecting the entire country, hence, we expect cloudy skies and rain in parts of Visayas, Mindanao, and parts of Southern Luzon.”
Pagasa has not detected any weather disturbance inside and outside the Philippine area of responsibility, as the low pressure area off Visayas has dissipated.
