Ontario Provincial Police are currently investigating the theft of at least 13 medals and various Olympic memorabilia from a Canadian gymnast.
The theft was reported on July 4th, and it occurred at a residence in the Township of Chatsworth, Ontario.
Among the stolen items are numerous Canadian national championship medals for gymnastics, medals from international competitions, and Ontario provincial championship awards.
In addition to the medals, the thief also took memorabilia such as national and Olympic gymnastics team clothing, uniforms for Team Canada, framed enlargements of the 1992 Olympics, and various souvenirs from international competitions between 1982 and 1993.
The victim has not been confirmed as a former member of the Team Canada gymnastics team, but all the stolen items are related to gymnastics and belonged to the person whose home they were taken from.

- Wood burned gymnast wood plate from Ljubljana, Yugoslavia
- National souvenirs from China, Hong Kong, Korea, Macau, Australia, Austria, France, Belgium, Germany, Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, England, Lichtenstein, 1982-1993
- one box of 1992 Olympic memorabilia
