Hiii” and the other replies with a GIF from Carey’s “Obsessed” music video with the lyrics, “Why you so obsessed with me?” Commenters on social media praised the singer for her humorous reference to Grindr, with one writing, “WHO TOLD MIMI ABOUT GRINDR LMAO.” Carey, who has long been a supporter and advocate for the LGBTQ community, performed a medley of her hits including “Obsessed” and “We Belong Together” during the LA Pride event. Earlier this year, Megan Thee Stallion also performed at the two-night concert. Following her performance, Carey expressed her love for LA Pride on Instagram.
